It was prepared in response to the Board of Directors’ (“BOD”) direction in July 2004 to undertake further analysis and consultation to try to find a workable solution to address workplace violence issues identified in response to an inquest completed by the Coroner's Court of BC in 2003, after two government workers in Kamloops were fatally shot by a co-worker in 2002.
It was presented to the BOD in June 2005 for consideration.
