Discussion Paper: Chemical and Biological Substances - Exposure Limits and Designations

Proposed amendments to Item R5.48-1 of the Prevention Manual regarding occupational exposure limits for chemical substances were released for consultation.

A discussion paper was prepared to highlight new regulatory requirements, which became effective on October 29, 2003 and provide a summary of the proposed policy changes.

Also available is a copy of the proposed policy amendments.
