WorkSafeBC policy in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II provided guidance on payment of temporary wage-loss benefits where a subsequent non-compensable incident delayed a worker’s recovery from a compensable disability.

At issue was whether an employer should receive cost relief for the delay in recovery beyond the estimated date for terminating temporary wage-loss benefits, when a subsequent non-compensable incident delayed a worker’s recovery from a compensable disability.
