When a firm moved business operations or assets to another firm, experience transfer policy allowed WorkSafeBC to consider transferring the experience of the original firm to the successor firm. This could have a significant impact on the successor firm's assessment premiums. The Policy and Research Division developed a discussion paper on Experience Transfer Policy Changes for consideration by stakeholders.
