The Policy and Research Division of WorkSafeBC developed a discussion paper on the Employer's Report of Injury for consideration by stakeholders.

This paper was released for consultation until September 14, 2005 and then suspended prior to the implementation of any proposed policy options. It was suspended due to implementation of the Teleclaim and the Claims Management Solution (CMS) initiatives, with a plan to review the status of the policy once these initiatives were in operation.
