This Practice Directive provides guidance to WorkSafeBC officers on managing claims of psychologically vulnerable workers. It provides particular guidance on communicating information and decisions to a worker who is at risk for significant psychological deterioration including risk of suicide, on monitoring of claims during the appellate process, and on involving WorkSafeBC clinicians.
