On March 30, 2017, the Board of Directors approved amendments to the Permanent Disability Evaluation Schedule in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II to:

• Clarify guidance on assessing permanent disability awards under the loss of function method; and
• Update and add conditions to ensure the PDES reflects best practices for assessment and diagnosis.
