By resolution dated June 20, 2012, the Board of Directors of WorkSafeBC approved amendments to policy item #67.40, Apprentice or Learner, of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II to reflect the Bill 14 amendments to the Workers Compensation Act, as they relate to the calculation of average earnings for apprentices or learners. The legislative amendments will come into effect on July 1, 2012.  

The amended policy applies to an injury that occurs on or after July 1, 2012.

The resolution and policy amendments are effective July 1, 2012.
