At its meeting on October 5, 2006, the Board of Directors approved the release of proposed amendments to Part 6 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation  to public hearings being held in November 2006.

Amendments to Part 6 relate to safety-engineered devices for all hollow bore needles and other medical sharps.
