Improving the health, safety and wellness of long-haul truck drivers through research on best practices in integrated health protection and promotion programs
This project explores the health, safety & wellness (HS&W) programs and resources available to long-haul truck drivers in BC and what can be done to promote the widespread adoption of HS&W programs in trucking companies. The research will identify current practices to improve driver HS&W, and determine the number of companies and drivers with access to programs and resources. A province-wide survey of long-haul truck companies will be conducted.
