The Panel of Administrators approved amendments to policy item #39.44 of Volumes I and II of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual. This policy was amended by deleting wording that precluded a section 23(1) award where the worker has returned to his or her normal or equal paying occupation. The amendments were effective November 19, 2002, and apply to all section 23(1) decisions adjudicated on or after the effective date.
