Amendments to Part 3 of the OHS Regulation, relating to the provision of occupational first aid (sections 3.14–3.21), will take effect November 1, 2024.

These draft preliminary guidelines are intended to assist employers prepare for the implementation of the new provisions. Draft versions of these guidelines were posted for consultation during the month of April 2024, and feedback from interested parties was incorporated into this preliminary revision.
