On March 30, 2017, the Board of Directors approved amendments to policy item #97.10, Presumptions, the addition of policy item #26.22, Additional Presumptions in the Workers Compensation Act and consequential amendments in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II. The changes were implemented to ensure the firefighters’ presumption and the communicable disease presumption provided in the Workers Compensation Act are included in policy.
