On May 27, 2015, the Board of Directors approved amendments to Vocational Rehabilitation (“VR”) policy in Chapter 11 of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II.

The purpose of the amendments in this first phase of the VR policy review is to align policy with practice and streamline decision-making in order to promote the efficient delivery of VR services to workers.

The policy amendments came into effect on September 1, 2015 and apply to all decisions made on or after September 1, 2015.
