On October 23, 2013, the Board of Directors approved amendments to policy item #93.21, Time Allowed for Submission of Application, in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II.

This policy was amended to note that section 55 of the Workers Compensation Act, applies to claims for compensation for mental disorders under section 5.1 of the Act, as it applies to claims for compensation for injuries under section 5.
The policy amendments come into effect on December 1, 2013 and apply to all decisions, including appellate decisions made on or after that date.
