Proposed amendments to Assessment Practice Directive 5-245-2(A)
Upcoming consultation: WorkSafeBC will soon be consulting B.C. employers on a proposed update to how tips or gratuities are addressed in Assessment Practice Directive 5-245-2(A) – Assessable payroll. This proposed change does not create new obligations for employers; it simply narrows the scope and clarifies guidance that has been in place since 2010.
