To determine whether there is any evidence to support a (causal) association between working as crane operators or working in an environment requiring frequent or sustained neck extension, and the development of (symptomatic) cervical osteoarthritis, and what type(s) of occupation(s), if any, is/are (causally) associated with the development of (symptomatic) cervical osteoarthritis (OA).
