The Province has announced legislative changes that expand workers’ compensation coverage to app-based ride-hailing and delivery drivers in B.C. These changes will come into effect on September 3, 2024.

• Employers who need to register can find more information at worksafebc.com/register.
• Ride-hailing drivers can find information on driving for work at worksafebc.com/driving.
• Delivery drivers can find information at worksafebc.com/delivery.
