Revised safety poster shows workers how to stand out safely around mobile equipment and vehicles
This visual aid shows workers the personal protective equipment (PPE) they must wear to help them be seen around mobile equipment and vehicles.
Workers must wear Class 1 high-visibility apparel if they work around vehicles or mobile equipment moving slower than 30 km/h. If workers are around vehicles moving faster than 30 km/h, they must wear Class 2 or 3 high-visibility apparel.
Stand out safely: High-visibility apparel has been updated to reflect current health and safety legislation for high-visibility and distinguishing apparel, as well as provide important information on colour use, care, and visibility-enhancing trim for classes 1, 2, and 3.
You can also order full-colour printed copies of this poster from our WorkSafeBC Bookstore. The poster contains a perforation between the two sides for maximum flexibility in displaying one or both sides in a limited space.
Visit our Personal protective equipment pages for more information on high-visibility apparel and other forms of PPE.
