Richmond, B.C., July 16, 2008 — The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) is accepting entries for its Prevention Solutions Contest, with the winners to be announced during the CSSE 2008 Professional Development Conference and Exhibition in Quebec City which runs from September 14 to 17, 2008. The contest is co-sponsored by WorkSafeBC, the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) Ontario, and the Safety and Compensation Commission of New Brunswick (WHSCC).
If you’re a CSSE member and/or a conference delegate and have met a health and safety challenge in your workplace, this is your chance to win a cash prize while earning the recognition of your prevention peers. The first place winner receives $700; second place wins $500; while $300 goes to the third place finalist.
The deadline for entries is August 20, 2008.
