The Workplace: Youth at Risk?, produced by the Workers' Compensation Board of B.C. and Shaw TV, features four injured young workers and their parents talking about how their lives are forever altered because of a workplace accident.
The program is hosted by Ian Hanomansing, news anchor from CBC's Canada Now.
Every year thousands of teenagers start summer jobs or enter the workforce permanently. In a candid and sometimes graphic way, the show alerts parents and teenagers to the potential dangers in a workplace and the role they can play in ensuring a safe workplace.
The Workplace: Youth at Risk? is presented by the Workers'
Compensation Board B.C., The Metrovalley Newspaper Group and London Drugs.
