Faster,
better system with Clearance Alert
Life just got a bit easier for firms that hire contractors thanks to
Clearance
Alert, our new application that
automatically advises users of any
changes to a contractor's status with WorkSafeBC.
If you hire a contractor who isn't registered with WorkSafeBC hasn't
paid its premiums, you could be charged premiums for any work the contractor
performs so it's important to know about changes in a contractor's clearance
status.
How it works
Clearance Alert allows you to submit a list of contractors to WorkSafeBC
over a secured online server. You can add or remove names from the list
as desired.
WorkSafeBC monitors the clearance status of the contractors
on your list and notifies you by e-mail of any changes to a contractor's
clearance rating.
Whether a contractor goes from good standing to cancelled or delinquent,
or from delinquent back to good standing, you can be sure you're getting
the most recent clearance status of contractors working for you.
