Enforcing Registration
WorkSafeBC has entered into a new agreement with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), whereby both agencies will exchange information such as contact details and payroll figures about B.C. businesses. Through this arrangement, WorkSafeBC will be able to identify firms that are registered through CRA but not WorkSafeBC, and will follow-up by informing these firms of their legal requirement to register. This will result in a great level of equity for all employers.
